Ian Bartels is the face of our firm with over 32 year’s experience in the legal industry. Ian is a born and bred local who started his practice at Mt Gravatt in 1994. As an experienced general practice solicitor, Ian is available to assist clients on a range of matters. Ian practices predominantly in succession law (wills and estates), family law and criminal law.

Lauren is our Conveyancing Manager. Lauren has been working in the legal industry for more than 30 years and has specialised in conveyancing for the past 25 years. Claire Perkins
Office Manager
Claire is our office manager and wills/estates paralegal. Having worked in the legal industry for over 20 years, Claire has a wealth of knowledge in various areas of law, in particular wills and estates, banking and finance and property transmissions. Claire’s main area of work at Ian W Bartels is in wills, estates and deceased estate property transfers. Claire is part of our small, friendly suburban practice, and brings compassion to her work that helps our clients through the difficult time families experience at the loss of a loved one.
